Do your servers support dynamic web content?
Yes! Our servers support a great range of tools for building dynamic
content into your web pages. This includes support for
ASP*, PHP, Macromedia Flash, SSI (Server Side Includes), Javascript,
CSS (Custom Style Sheets), database interaction, Java applets, and sites
developed with Macromedia Dreamweaver and Microsoft FrontPage.
Can I write and run my own CGI scripts and programs?
Sure you can. It is a great way to make your site more interactive.
All hosting accounts on our servers come with a private CGI Bin.
What ready-to-use CGI scripts do you provide?
We set you up with a CGI Bin and provide a set of useful and effective scripts for you. Many
hosting companies claim to provide "preinstalled" scripts but they do not
actually configure them for you, so they are not ready to use. Our CGI Script Wizard
allows you to easily install and configure our range of CGI scripts so that you don't
need to know any programming in order to use them. The scripts we provide include:
- phpMyAdmin - browser-based MySQL database management
- Calendar of Events - customizable calendar
- Mojo Mail - mailing list program
- FormMail - email form results automatically
- eUpload - upload files via your web browser
- FFA Links Page - website link listing script
- Guestbook - have visitors leave you a message
- Image Counter - graphical hit counter
- Show and Sell Banner Rotator - site advertisement manager
- Simple Search - site search utility
- Text Counter - text-based hit counter
- WWWBoard - online message board/forum
- YaBB 1 Gold - online bulletin board
What programming languages and development tools are supported by your servers?
Our servers support Perl, PHP, C, C++, ASP*, Python and Java applets (though not
Java servlets).
* A once-off fee of $7.50 applies for ASP support. Please
