What is a GigaBlock?

Quite simply, a GigaBlock is a bulk set of hosting features that you purchase and then divide and sell as you see fit. This allows you to sell ANY type of hosting account. Each hosting account that you order within each GigaBlock can be fully customized and you can even set up account templates to make re-ordering a breeze.

What's in a GigaBlock?

Each GigaBlock that you purchase contains:

How does it work?

It's simple:

1. The first step is to sign up as either a Reseller Gold or Flexible Reseller.
2. Once you have done this you order your first GigaBlock via our my.kangaweb.com facility.
3. Next decide on what type of hosting plans you will advertise and sell. With a GigaBlock it's your choice!
4. As you receive orders from your customers you set the hosting accounts up via our easy-to-use control panel. Each account can be fully customized at set up, or you can simply create them from your custom templates.
5. When the time comes you can purchase your next GigaBlock ready to be filled with new clients!

Using GigaBlocks is entirely optional and you can resell our regular hosting accounts if you prefer. You can also set up and maintain both regular hosting accounts and GigaBlock accounts within the same Reseller Plan.

No per site or per customer charges!

Each hosting account that you set up within a GigaBlock is free of any extra charges - you pay the setup and monthly fees for each GigaBlock only! This gives great scope for flexibility and allows you to set up as many accounts in each GigaBlock as you like without having to worry about extra fees.

The right tools

Our GigaBlock management tools allow you to add, remove and manage both GigaBlocks and account extras with ease. With our template system you can set up and store ready-to-go hosting account templates. This allows you to order accounts simply by choosing from a drop-down list of your customized hosting plans. At the same time you maintain complete control over what features come with each order.

1. Can I add more features to a GigaBlock?

Yes. Each GigaBlock comes with a large allocation of features (listed above) however if you require more features with your GigaBlock then these can be added at our regular add-on prices. Please see our pricing page for full details.

2. Are there limits on the accounts that I set up?

Yes. To ensure all clients receive their fair share of system resources, the following maximum limits apply to any single hosting plan set up under a GigaBlock:

• 250 MB disk space
• 10 GB of traffic
• 1 MySQL database

3. What features will each of my hosting plans get?

Each hosting plan that you set up under your GigaBlock will receive the full KangaWeb feature-set, excluding ASP support.

Please note that email-only plans can not be set up under a GigaBlock account.

4. Can I make changes to a hosting plan once it is set up?

Yes. You can alter any of the following features on hosting plans under your GigaBlocks for a once-off alteration fee of $7.50:

• Disk space allowance
• Bandwidth allowance (traffic)
• Change the POP account limit
• MySQL database
• SSH/Telnet
• SSL/GPG (Secure Server)

Additionally, you can add any of our regular add-ons, such as Domain Parking, for our regular add-on fees.

4. What nameservers will my GigaBlock accounts use?

All hosting plans in your GigaBlocks will use our anonymous nameservers. These have no mention of KangaWeb!

5. I am a current KangaWeb Reseller with private nameservers. Can I use these for my GigaBlock accounts?

Unfortunately you will not be able to use your private nameservers for plans set up under your GigaBlock accounts. These can be used for regular resold KangaWeb plans only.

6. Are there any setup fees for each hosting plan I add to my GigaBlock?

No! You only pay a setup fee on each GigaBlock that you purchase. Each hosting plan that you setup within a GigaBlock is free of additional charges.

7. How do I manage my GigaBlocks and GigaBlock hosting plans?

All GigaBlock management tasks are performed via my.kangaweb.com » Reseller Tasks » GigaBlocks.
